the beginning was a little slow but it started to pick up towards the middle. writing style is similar to the virgin suicides and a separate peace, which i like a lot, but isnt for everyone. some of the scenes pertaining to the MCs sexuality felt a little heavy handed and i wasn’t super into them (who wants to read about a 14 year old masturbating?)
