The story was interesting and I did like most of the characters but I feel like the author tried too hard to make this book funny and entertaining. It felt forced and while it was amusing at the beginning it got annoying pretty quickly.
Also can we talk about the absolutely unnecessary - and of course inappropriate - body shaming!? This book is obviously targeted towards young girls/young teens and yet you can read stuff like "fette Schl*mpe" (fat b*tch in English) in this. That personally shocked me and definitely knocked down my rating quite a bit.
