Inkspell by Cornelia Funke

Well. That was... really well done. I'm reserving judgement until the end of the series, but I was very glad to read into Inkworld and see what was happening. I was glad to get some of Mo's point of view for once. I was equal parts frustrated with and sympathetic to Meggie. And I did not see that ending coming, which I'll take as a sign of great plotting.

It's good stuff. I'm writing this, finally, 250 pages into Inkdeath and so far so... I don't know. I can tell she's setting up some big stuff, but I don't know how it's going to play out. I'm looking forward to it.
