The Antidote: Happiness for People Who Can't Stand Positive Thinking by Oliver Burkeman

4.0

A fun ramble through a bunch of thinkers who reckon we should stop trying to be positive the whole damn time. Burkeman is strongest and most amusing when recounting a amusing anecdote or experience. He tried to weave in the theory but it can be a bit jarring. His overall recommendation of a philosophy of lukewarm Stoicism and Buddhism seems about right to me.
