Disappointed. That’s what I am right now. 😞
I wanted more chapters about Alec and Magnus. Is that too much to ask?!
And that order of the chapters. So chaotic. 🙄 Why didn’t the authors respect the timeline? I like a book written in the order of the years. But no. Here a chapter was from 1977, the next one from the present, another from 1989 and then back to the present. I hate it when this happens. Especially when the chapters have no connection between them.
Moving on... I think Cassandra would have written a better book on her own. I could feel the change in the writing style so quickly.
Other than that... I liked the fact that I could read some chapters about Magnus’s feelings. This was a good point. 👍 And maybe I would have liked to read more about Magnus and Camille. But once again, some chapters were useless. From my point of view. They didn’t describe important events from Magnus’s life. They felt like fill in pages. That’s it. Am I being harsh? Well, sorry, I’m just trying to be honest here.
