Clementine: Book One by Tillie Walden, Tillie Walden

Solid story on it's own. I always enjoy zombie stories where the elements play a big factor.
In terms of how the author/artist handled Clementine as a character... It's 50/50 for me - I do think it's a genuine to her character, but not the character that we were left with at the end of her story in the Telltale series. Maybe more of a Season 3 AJ-less Clementine. It's not explained in this why she left AJ, and it doesn't seem to be explained in a very satisfying way outside of the story from what I've heard...
That being said, I can see her leaving the school - I don't think she'd want to, but I can see, assuming certain factors, that situation breaking down gradually to the point that she heads out on her own. However, I don't think she'd ever leave AJ. So, I think you really have to seperate Clementine the video game character from the Clementine in this to enjoy it fully.
