It was an interesting read. For how long ago the book was written, I think it has a wonderful message about patriarchal society and the assumptions that we take to be true. I wish it wasn’t written solely from the man’s point of view, but I wonder if that’s the only way it would have been read back then. I also found myself drawn to the environmental message about the downsides of factory farming and how unsustainable our current practices are.
