I wish there were more
Spoiler whistlers in this story! I found them so fascinating. That they are not dead people (zombies) but just infected. Different but still people. Though I wish they rose up against the Retreat. I wanted more gore and more whistler-lore. That's the only thing lacking. Also I think Daniel/Sean/Carter's mission was idiotic. Wanting to kill the Professor. Maybe it would have been better if he was searching for Eva's father. That would have made more sense. His killing everyone was so weird. Anyways, the book wasn't perfect but I was really entertained. Read this book in two days when I finally picked it up.
