This is the final book in the Charlie Bone series. Everything comes to a head. Dagbert and his father have their showdown; but Lysander helps so Dagbert wins. Olivia gets bewitched and they have to help her. Charlie is worried because his parents are on their honeymoon, whale watching. The Red Knight has been helping protect some of the endowed children. Tancred is not really dead. Charlie and his moth are able to repair the mirror so he is able to save Billy. The kids, Uncle Patton, and a few of the other adults take on the Bloors and their evil minions. The Red Knight is almost defeated but Charlie grabs the reigns of the enchanter and the Red Knight wins. Then we find out the Red Knight is his dad; that his parents aren't whale watching. Also, Billy isn't the heir, it's Charlie's dad. Blessed, the dog, kills old man Bloor and Manfred. Charlie's dad reopens the school and then adopts Billy. This was a good wrap up to the series.
