Fracture Me by Tahereh Mafi

1.0

Something about everything that happened in the novel feels... fake. It feels wrong. Jerky. Out of place. Even the writing style felt weak and generic, which is so incredibly sad because the strongest point for all the books (thus far) has been the unique writing style. And maybe it's Adam as a character that Mafi feels the need to tone things down but... it was just really unimpressive.
Speaking of Adam, WTF.
No, seriously. WTF.
Being inside his mind, seeing what he sees, what he feels... I mean, I get that he wants to protect his brother. I get that maybe, honestly, for him, his brother is more important than Juliette (we can only hope).
But even then... with all the instalove bullshit we've been put through in Shatter Me and Unravel Me... you'd think he'd be more desperate to be with Juliette.
I don't know.

I really. Don't. Know.
