I loved the first book in this series but this one missed the mark for me. The character’s individual issues came up repeatedly which was annoying and boring. Their origin is the MMC asking the FMC out repeatedly when she keeps saying no. Like? So much internal dialogue and telling friends things that I think the couple is together one-on-one, for maybeee 100 pages. MAYBE.

And they get back together in the last 5 pages. Like fr?
