My friend told me to not take it as a masterpiece, but for what it is: Faery Smut. And with that in mind, I was less disappointed by it, even though I still think the same story could have been told in about half the amount of pages. Overall it was alright, but very slow paced and I needed a long time to get over myself and finish it.
