I didn't think the worldbuilding was great - or at least, I had no curiosity about the world. Psychic cats were introduced early on, and then had zero relevance to the plot. Way too many odd similes and metaphors. Using "cycle" as a unit of time was confusing because it wasn't clear until like halfway through if it was a day, a week, or somewhere in between. Way too many fart references.

Overall - fine. Not good enough to recommend to anyone though.
