Rating: ⭐⭐⭐.75/5
Spice: 🌶️🌶️/5
Chemistry: 🧪🧪
Plot: 3/5
I've never been much for the student teacher trope. And I have to say that based on this book I'm still not. I have always enjoyed Cassie's books but this one was one that I struggled to eat through. I know I know, it's 66 pages. But I feel as if I had to slog through it just to get to a disappointing ending.
Once they finally get to the good part there isn't really much happening. I feel like if I had to wait all that time for something to happen it could have been better.
I really loved that she was working at the library because *dream realized* but other than that there really isn't enough to keep you wanting to read. Well at least not for me. I think of there would have been better interactions with Conrad and a third person there would have been a bit of an ease. Instead of it just being super awkward between the two until it wasn't. Which was super awkward for me as a reader.
