i didn’t love this book as much as the first one. i found the pace to be a bit all over and felt like it was just one thing after another without real downtime or anything for character growth to happen.
idk how to explain it but it felt like one of my nightmares where im always running and as soon as i get somewhere the “bad guy” gets to me and i start running again.
also i just feel like the series has so many people that are not developed into memorable enough characters so when they pop back in i genuinely have no idea who they are or what their motivations were.
