Owning Jacob, by Simon Beckett

3.0

I'm not so sure about this book, although I really liked the topic I couldn't get very into it. I really like the David Hunter series by Simon Beckett and had high hopes into this book.

After the sudden death of his girlfriend Sarah, Ben finds out that Sarah kidnapped Jacob right after his birth and pretended to be his mother. Ben is not sure whether he can live with this burden and finds out about Ben's real parents. A story about "owning Jacob" begins..
I wasn't to sure about the characters, because I couldn't really connect with them. All of them are sort of like antiheroes.
All in all I enjoyed reading it, but not as much as I like the David Hunter series
