This is my second book in the monsters matches series that I am reading. I am in love with her writing style. I’m not someone who reads a lot of spicy books but I still read this for the plot.
I originally read hosted by the dragon first, and I loved that book probably a little bit more than this one just because I had unplanned pregnancy and was longer. But I still love this book and I read it so quickly. It was short and concise. You always knew where the plot was headed or at least had an idea even if the plot diverged in a different direction.
The stock was a lot more mild than I expected (a pleasant surprise) and Gideon was so possessive. I love the way, Lillian Lark writes possessive men.
It was funny, cute, and spicy at times 👀.
There was a plot and it wasn’t hard to resolve but it was a fun mystery to have and solve so I enjoyed it.
