Review: This is my favorite out of the Murderbot Diaries series that I have read so far. I love how we are watching this android who has gained sentience & freedom and is struggling with living between the two worlds of being a robot who has a job to do while also beginning to have strong emotions and even care about others. It is also hilarious to listen to this robot talk about how addicted he is to what are essentially soap operas.

In this particular book, it’s really interesting to see how his perspective of humans is growing and he is learning that humans are more complex than he originally thought.

Synopsis: Murderbot is continuing his investigation into what really happened to him in the past. He has snuck aboard a ship/station and the crew of another ship are now on board but they aren’t alone. This book reminded me a lot of Alien.
