Comes close to being as good as the debut.
While I was only ever so slightly disappointed with the ending overall the tension, urgency, and heartbreak of this novel came as close, and even sometimes surpassed, what endeared me to the first. I just blew through this whole series in about two weeks, it's just that hard to put down.
