Again, like in the first book, Nahri isn't shown much using the talents she acquired in her childhood. 
The characters don't learn, say that they won't tell anyone and the next second they do.
Why is Nahri so surprised Fiza doesn't believe her? Like? It is unbelievable what you are telling and you are not really encouraging trusting relationships.

Too much talking too little action.
