A good, steady read. A bit on the mellow side. Story was quite emotional and had a consistent build-up. The timeline was well-arranged with a tidy plot. It wasn't a particularly rollercoaster-ride kind of read but the way the story went on up to it's conclusion was very constant, and there was no dramatic pressure. I like how this author always has a very different feel and pace for each book, which I very much enjoy; this was a chill read yet still engrossing.
