this feels like something very fresh and new on my bookshelf. i always forget how much i enjoy reading plays.

i very much enjoyed this one. it is full of pop culture references from ten years ago, full of swearing and slang and singing, but the characters felt so real, with dialogue that seemed to speak to me as i was reading it on the page.

highlights :
- debating which poo tanya had laid in - conclusion being badger.
- every character entering and telling ginger that he should have been there last night. brutal.
- the way the teenagers seem to genuinely care for this man, this drug dealing liar in the middle of the woods, going out of their way to protect him.

i can imagine just how funny it would be on stage (especially sections like the trivial pursuit cheating), all the ensemble work must be great.

a very good start to the second half of the tragedy module.
