FULL REVIEW:
This book and this author deserve ALL the praise. The book itself is just so, so good. There's banter, there's spice, there's forced proximity. And there's a secret library!

Tobias and Scarlett are each 🥵 in their own rights, but then you put them together and there are legit fireworks. I mean, their chemistry is completely off the charts. And the story itself is really great - Tobias having to work to get back up on his feet. For people who read Overtime, Wild Card starts a little before the ending of that book, so we don't see Tobias's accident until a little into this book.

And of course, I can't end this review without saying how much I loved how this whole series wrapped up (and honestly the nice wrap up we get from Maggie's Plays and Penalties series in this book). It was the perfect ending without being too unbelievable.

Ok, I'm done gushing about Wild Card...for now. Check out the rest of Maggie's books and keep an eye out for her next book - a why choose hockey romance!
