I won't lie, I went into this book totally expecting to hate it - Oklahoma? Basketball? Why do I care? But I ended up being totally fascinated by the bizarre, sometimes funny, sometimes tragic history of this city and especially the saga of its basketball team. Much credit to the author, who did a great job keeping things interesting.
