Mercy Thompson: Homecoming by David Lawrence, Amelia Woo, Francis Tsai, Patricia Briggs

4.0

I'm not really a fan of graphic novels (aka comic books). Like movie adaptations, they tend to move a story away from internal conflict and toward external conflict, and this one was no exception. Plus, there was enough barely-veiled nudity in this graphic novel that it pushed the line between art and porn.

All of that said...I adore this series and would even read a poem about it. And you get a little bit of backstory here that isn't shown elsewhere, so it's totally worth checking out of the library and reading while you try out a new chicken and Egyptian onion recipe adapted from Epicurious. Or maybe that's just me....
