whew. fuck okay idk where to even start.. i guess with i fucking loved this book and story, every damn moment of it. the stages of a stifling, painful, abusive relationship all start slow. reading this story as constance tells it, after it’s already happened, was a great choice; since we get her insight into past events with a “hindsight is 20/20” mindset. the love story wasn’t even about him, it never was. it was always gonna be about her and magdalena and then alexi. the three of them being able to escape him and moving on with their lives. god. so wonderful
