Everyone go read this now! I have been looking for a good fantasy for a while and this hit the spot! Not only was the world-building some of the easiest I've ever experienced, but it sucked me right in!
Violet was such a lil baddie and I AM ABSOLUTELY IN LOVE WITH XADEN GOOD LORD HELP ME! If he's tall and has dark hair, consider me smitten. I really loved the dynamic between the riders and their dragons, and the relationship between Violet and Tairn had me in tears.
If you are new to fantasy and looking for somewhere to start I highly, highly recommend, and if you're a fantasy veteran, I think you'll still be blown away.
