Unsatisfying finale for this series. Old enemies are brought back for no reason, and the big battle at the end feels incredibly derivative of the ones in TMI and TID. The titular queen of air and darkness is more like a macguffin than an actual person, real or reanimated. Cassandra Clare has absolutely lost the plot. This book and Lady Midnight have little in common except for their characters. Each book should have been a standalone. Or just not exist.
