The Secret Life of Plants: A Fascinating Account of the Physical, Emotional, and Spiritual Relations Between Plants and Man by Peter Tompkins, Christopher Bird

informative slow-paced

3.0

This is more than most people will want to know about plants. I appreciated the section on George Washington Carver and his faith. Otherwise, aside from a few insights such as how plants respond to different forms of music, and how plants more or less claim a person like a cat does, (the cat comparison is mine), it's a tough slog. Skimmed rather than read the book.
