I found the trigger warnings at the beginning of the book a ~bit~ dramatic. It lightly touched on the subjects listed besides discussion on terminal illnesses I thought the TWs would leave me emotionally wrecked but they were more of plot sprinkles. I loved the author's style of world building and giving character background that wasn't overwhelming. I liked how the author has the gods as actual plot movers and not as some foreign diety like most religious entities.
