Heart of the Moors: An Original Maleficent: Mistress of Evil Novel by Holly Black
5.0
I received an E-ARC from Netgalley in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.
I give this book a five out of five. Picking up months after the events of Maleficent it deals with how Aurora is dealing with being Queen of both the human kingdom and the moors. She hopes that the two lands can live in peace but generations of distrust make both sides wary of one another. To bring peace, Aurora proposes a festival to bring the faeries and the humans together and at the end she plans on signing a treaty that will ensure peace between the kingdoms long after she has gone. However strange things are afoot and there is a conspiracy to stopAurora from completing her task and it takes all of her wit and strength and courage to find the traitors and bring them to justice before she loses everything and everyone that she holds dear.
