I listened to the audiobook, and this is a really cute one to listen to. The reader is a British voice actor, so it kinda feels like your old English grampa telling you stories. You can tell it's meant for children, but it's not patronizing. It's charming, eloquent, and interesting.
That said, apparently "the world" in A Little History of the World doesn't include South America, Australia, or Sub-Saharan Africa, like at all ever not once.
