The Pillars of Creation by Terry Goodkind

1.0

So far my least favorite book. It’s supposed to be a Richard and Kahlan novel but they don’t Show up until the last 3 or 4 chapters.

„The order“ and their mindset just seems so twisted…. And ominously close to the current world order. A sick twisted and demented version saying we are the slaves to other people and that became we are able bodied it’s “our duty” to care for those that aren’t… that slowly creates an impoverished world full of people being dependent on the government to provide for them by enforcing slavery on those who still can work to give their earnings to the “less fortunate” when in reality they’re just greedy and lazy and want someone else to do everything for them…. Sound familiar at all? Lmao

One of the main characters,Sebastian, in the end , actually kills himself after being told how backwards his beliefs are and that he doesn’t understand the true meaning of life or love with a demented version of what he believes.

And Oba. What in the actual fuck ? That guy deserved a more in-depth demise then being trapped under a rock.

He’s one of the most gruesome heinous characters in the book and he dies from starvation… that’s it?

Very disappoint in the book.
