i want to preface this by saying that i want to say more but i also cannot say more because i don't want to ruin the reading experience for anyone, but also just trust the process with this book.
i loved amara and i loved her scenes. she was so strong and i loved being able to get inside of her head because she was a mystery to me. i didn't know what to expect with hawk, but i loved him so much. he just made a little nest in my heart and now he lives there. i loved how he was with amara and just his energy in general. it hurt seeing how close he and his twin were and how he felt after north left, but this makes me super excited for norths book because i want to see what happens there.
hawk also calls amara little bird and i loved it.
