My favourite books have been mystery, murder, thrillers. Unfortunately this didn't quite hit the mark for me. I personally don't enjoy story lines that involve religion as a main plot point in unravelling the mystery but it was not mentioned too much until the end of the story line as the mystery was unravelling so it was manageable, although made the ending unenjoyable for me. I love plots that wrap up all their lose ends, especially when there is no second book, or no series to follow but again, this plot did not meet the mark and left a mildly traumatic, open ended, closing scene in the mind. I would recommend if you would like to support Aussie authors and books set in Australia, otherwise, potentially give this one a miss.
