dark emotional reflective sad medium-paced
  • Plot- or character-driven? A mix
  • Diverse cast of characters? Yes
  • Flaws of characters a main focus? It's complicated

Justice doesn’t always prevail in the face of politics, power, money etc. I like that the ending is realistic, regardless of how unjust I felt for the kids.

It was very disturbing to read about the atrocities committed by the very people whose were supposed to take care of and protect the children with disabilities. They are supposed be the ones that the children will reply on and trust the most. Adapted from the real life case of the Gwangju Inwha School for the hearing impaired.
