It All Comes Down to This by Therese Anne Fowler

3.0

After their mother's passing, the Geller sisters, Beck, Claire, and Sophie, are brought back together after years apart. Forcing the sisters to confront their past and current struggles while they work through their own grief. What ensues is a story of sibling rivalry and family drama that is brought to light while they gather at their family cottage one last time in Mount Desert Island, Maine.

Fowler brings to light the complexities of grief in "It All Comes Down to This." While not all of her characters are likeable, she captures grief, sisterhood, forgiveness, romance, friendship, and so much more through descriptive prose. While at times the story seemed to drag, it concluded with a satisfying ending that tied all of the pieces of this ⭐️⭐️⭐️ story together.

If you're a "Little Women” fan, you'll love the references she sprinkles throughout the story. Those were my favorite part!
