The Perfect Play by Jaci Burton

Usually, I would forgo doing chores in favor of reading a book so I can finish it in one sitting - if it's good. I just need to know what happens next and how it ends and all that. But with this book, maaan, I needed to take a few breaks from reading. It's that bad. The only reason I finished it is because I did not want another DNF. It was a struggle though.
So Mick is this number one NFL quarterback who meets Tara at a team event that she planned (it's her job). It was supposed to be just a one-time thing, but Mick tracked her down.
I hate Tara. Mick is, okay-ish. The sexy times are cringy (I just skimmed through them because they did not look appealing at all). The plot is predictable - a single mom with a teenage son afraid to commit blah blah.
If you want to waste your time, you're very much welcome to read it. I would not recommend it though.
