 4.3/5 Stalking stars

- As dark romance goes this is a pretty mellow one and a great introduction if you want to dip your toes into it. And in reality, who should we fear the masked man or Aly! Because damn that girl was crazier than Josh, sometimes unhinge and with a morbid humor.

- Josh basically was a white flag and the king of consent and that made him pretty lovable, we can forgive him for his stalking tendencies 🤣. His internal monologue was hilarious and the banter in this book is off the roof that may be one of my favorite things. This man was unlocking more kinks than Aly! Also, he is the best cat dad ever.

- Dark romcoms are a new thing I am enjoying, and this one is pretty fun. I loved the Harry Potter and Gilmore girl's references/

- The spicy was spicing but I would have loved more scenes of them together.

- I also liked the mafia connections and introduction of new characters. I can't wait for more stories.

Favorite quotes:

“My evil plan was working. Step one: get Aly to drop her guard. Step two: fuck her on this couch. Oh, wait, no. I’d skipped a few steps somewhere”

This man is always coming onto my FYP and never on me, and that is a tragedy,”

“I didn’t want him morally grey. I wanted someone with a soul as black as night. Someone who would burn the world down for me and not lose a single minute of sleep over it.”

“Are you saying that the couple who commits homicide together, stays together?” He snorted. “Too wordy. I prefer the couple who slays together, stays together.”
