one chapter away from being a thriller
This is the second book I have read from this author and I read it because I read another one called bait and I wanted to understand more of her style. I couldn’t decide if I liked it at first but now I think I do it’s kind of poetic I guess and unique, interesting, and it’s very much a stamp on who she is as an author which I think makes her stand out.
You can read her books and go oh yeah for sure this is a Jade West novel. I’m not really into the whole daddy kink it kind of creeps me out especially in this book. Definitely had that ick factor in the whole time. I’m like oh no! But just like the last book I read she really turns it around at the end with character, understanding and relationship growth. It kind of just makes you go. 0h OK OK so they’ve moved past it. They’ve grown. I don’t know -it’s a roller coaster ride that I think is interesting to go on and I would definitely read more of her books and recommend them.
