Girl in Pieces by Kathleen Glasgow
Did not finish book. Stopped at 28%.
life's too short to finish books you don´t enjoy.
the writing style wasn´t it for me.
i felt so disconnected from the main character, it was boring, awfully slow, and irritating i couldn´t finish it.
Charlie didn´t really have other personality traits other than her trauma and perhaps that was what made her feel inauthentic or realistic.
i also feel like there isn´t truly a plot or it´s confusing.
it´s also so triggering and gives ideas of how to self-harm while claiming to be a book that enlightens or makes people who self-harm feel more seen.
