Baby of the Family by Tina McElroy Ansa

This book’s chapters were more like vignettes, rather than a story line, which I’m learning is something I REALLY love. I really loved some chapters (Rachel’s chapter was my favorite) and disliked others. The writing was beautiful. I wish there was MUCH more of the magical elements from the beginning of the book. It trailed off into something much more literary fiction, which isn’t my preferred style as magical realism is. I loved Lena to pieces though!
