A beautifully devastating and bittersweet story about human life, love, and connection and how these things change over time. Tomorrow, Tomorrow, and Tomorrow simultaneously tore my heart up and held it tenderly.
All of the characters and relationships are complex and Human, which made me really feel for them even when Sam or Sadie were being annoying and unreasonable. As a non-gamer, I found Zevin's video game world captivating and intriguing but didn't delve too deeply into the nitty gritty details, so I never felt lost or out of place. I really enjoyed the full circle-ness of the ending, but I wished it was a touch more satisfying, since it felt a little flat compared to the rest of the story imo. But maybe I'm just not a fan of an open ending
Overall, Zevin is a wonderful author and I appreciated her incredible creativity and writing. I think the hype is indeed well-deserved!
