Bad Loki by Rosemary A. Johns

4.0

I love that this world ties into her Rebel worlds but is a world unto itself. Autumn's guardians are all unique, and the bond she has with each of them is special. Loki is a special guy, and there is bad blood between the two. But sometimes, it's easier to work together against your enemies than it is to keep holding a grudge.

Johns is one of the few authors I forgive cliffhangers because her books are always high quality, incredibly well-written, with intense characters that you can relate to and feel a kinship with. I love that she's included Japanese, Greek, and Norse lore in writing this. She always weaves music into her stories, which makes them come to life. Overall, an enjoyable read. I'm looking forward to Bad Hades.
