Jack and Annie are on their last adventure to help break Teddy from his curse. This time they visit Australia!
We don’t get much about Australia directly. Instead the book takes an indirect approach where the siblings start off by witnessing animals and learning about them from the book. However, that only lasts for about the first half of the book because when they find themselves in a bit of trouble, they become more observant and act accordingly.
In this book, it’s clear that Jack is strong and Annie is brave. Driven by their desire to help others, both siblings save animals during a critical event and push their own limits. I absolutely admired this side of them and the way they cared for each other.
The set of four adventures ends in this story and it’s revealed Teddy is indeed magical. Similar to all the other books, this set of adventures were mysterious, thrilling and engaging. However, all the adventures are unrelated to each other but are continuous in the story flow.
Overall, I enjoyed this short and quick read. I love reading about these two siblings as they care and understand each other. I will miss little Teddy in the future books but I am looking forward to reading what our next set of adventures are for!
