I genuinely don’t understand the hold that Kerry Manisculo has on me. While I absolutely loved the og wicked series I didn’t expect this books to live up to them as much as I loved Envy. I was more expecting this to be a 3-4⭐️ read but I genuinely can’t find anything I thought was wrong with it. I just absolutely loved it.

What I love about Kerry is that she creates such intriguing and badass female main characters. Both Emilia and Camilla are such badasses and never bow down to the princes of hell.

I loved how small things about Camilla just hinted at how she was clearly Envy’s soulmate. They were so meant for each other and I don’t think Envy thought that he would ever find someone who would keep intriguing him. He had fully expected to live alone because no one except Camilla can match him.

Vittoria’s cameo in this book was… interesting. She is still a very unlikable character so I’m really interested- if this universe continues- what she ends up doing.

Envy is such a charismatic character and I love how he is always unapologetically who he is- no matter what other people say.

I liked seeing a bit more of the underworld in this book, like the vampire court and the wild court and I don’t doubt that we will see more of the vampires in the future.

There better be a new book next year because I don’t know how long I can go without this universe. Might need to reread the og trilogy this Christmas!
