The Romance Line by Lauren Blakely
4.0
please note that the trigger warnings and topes/themes may contain spoilers
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
HEA: HFN
POV: dual 1st person
spice: a few open-door spicy scenes
TWs: blackmail, car accident (fatal), cheating, death of a family member, death of a friend, dementia, grief, PTSD
Kinky Content: dirty talk, eyes on me, fingering, hair pulling, irrumatio, lingerie kink, masturbation, oral, praise, public sex, queening
standalone: book 2 in the Love and Hockey series
final thoughts: this was a super cute forbidden workplace romance between the good girl publicist and the grumpy goalie. Their banter was great and the side characters were entertaining. I love the world Lauren Blakely has created. I really wish we got to see more of a HEA with next steps in their relationship but I love what we’ve been given so far!
I loved getting to know the MCs beyond just their job and seeing their relationship blossom from work rivals/hate to lovers!
The duet narration between Teddy Hamilton and Vanessa Edwin was so good. They fit the characters perfectly and had such great voices.
