Blue is a Darkness Weakened by Light by Sarah McCarry

4.0

Well written, this was poking fun at all those YA novels that are so popular with sparkly vampires, and girls that thing they aren't pretty until someone tells them they are.

Told from the point of view of an assistant to a literary agent, and the vampire friend who comments on the book she is commenting on. A little sad. A bit philosophical. And very captivating.

Not sure about the ending, which is why it is a four star, instead of a five, but up until then it had me wondering what was going to happen, and I would have read much much more if it had been there.

I'm going to seek out other things that Sarah McCarry has written.
