I loved the book up until the end.
SpoilerThe entire last 30 pages were gross. TJ was a caricature of a guy in the “friend zone” who would go to kill himself after pining over a girl for 3 years. Their conversation on the rooftop was disturbing and disgusting. People like him exist but they do not act, speak, or think like him. The author could have explored the one sided nature of their relationship, explored his perspective or experiences. Instead she tries to make him kill himself. Dr. Davis is an asshole who was never really explored as a character who could have been so much more than the overprotective and ill-informed father. Demi was a spoiled self entitled brat which worked in a lot of ways but made her difficult to root for.
