The plot is very interesting, I was intrigued by the mystery of how Daniel appear at Jillian’s apartment as a ghost and why only Jillian could see him. It was funny and strange seeing how they interact with each other.

I keep reading until the end because I wanted to know the explanation to what happen to Daniel and whether they’ll end up happily together since it’s impossible for a ghost and human to have a romantic relationship…

But, I really like the secondary characters, like Fran, Jillian’s BFF – Serena and also Jillian’s co-worker at the office whose really liven up the story.
I wasn’t the biggest fan of Jillian at first, but I slowly started to understand her as the story goes.
Then there's the mysterious Daniel. He is the reason why I like the second half part of the story since I got to know his background story.

As much as I like the plot idea of this book, there are some things I wish differently.
I wish the progress of the romance between Jillian and Daniel wasn’t so rushed, it felt like an insta-love which I’m not a huge fan of.
Moreover, the spicy scenes between the two of them while Daniel was still a ghost was really weird….

The first half part and the second half part feels like two different books, the changes to the main characters were quite abrupt. It would be nice if it was divided into two separate books instead of packing it into one thick book.

Overall, it’s a pretty enjoyable read and I find this plot idea really interesting.
Even so, I’m still unsure of what really happen with Daniel even after reading the second epilogue. It should have clarified something but instead it raised some questions for me.
Nevertheless, I’m looking forward to read the next book in this series featuring Serena – Jillian’s best friend!
